Synopsis
Germany, summer of 1954. An eleven year-old boy's peaceful life is disrupted when his father returns from Soviet captivity. As the two gradually win each other's trust, they trigger a little miracle of love and generosity that helps bring about another: the World Cup victory of the German football team in Switzerland, the miracle of Bern.
